Highly Wear-Resistant Composite Material Made of Self-Adhesive Material
Due to the customer's production department's need to improve production efficiency and replace manual labor with automation, the EPS board at the bottom of electrical appliances generates friction during handling, so it needs to be protected with cardboard or hollow boards. During production, a lot of personnel are required to wrap the protective material around the bottom of the EPS board, and during peak seasons, there are situations where the packaging cannot keep up. The customer’s production department proposed automating or semi-automating this process to improve production efficiency. After understanding the customer's needs, our company spent half a year developing a high-wear-resistant composite material that was self-adhesive. After customer testing, the performance of this material perfectly replaced the cardboard/hollow boards. By using this material in combination with the equipment developed by our company, the workforce was reduced by 70%, and material costs were reduced by 30%.
Process Improvement of Linerless Aluminum Foil Tape
Due to the customer's request to reduce costs and improve efficiency, a new product was developed to replace the long-used linerless pure aluminum tape in order to reduce product costs and make it more competitive. Based on the original linerless film-coated aluminum foil tape, our company made process improvements. On one hand, we ensured that the tensile strength of the process could match that of the linerless pure aluminum. On the other hand, we adjusted the surface treatment formula to ensure that the modified product also had a certain foaming effect. After multiple validations in our factory, the improved product was launched to the customer. After several batches of use, the customer verified that the performance was comparable to the linerless pure aluminum tape. The product was then mass-produced, successfully reducing the usage cost.
